Revelation Report: What Comes After This Life?
September 04, 2026
Every book has an ending, and Revelation's is worth reading slowly. The last three chapters describe two very different scenes: a throne with books opened and names read out loud, and a city where the tree that once stood in Eden stands again.
This week's Report gathers three articles on the elements of those scenes. What the Tree of Life is, and why it appears at both ends of the Bible. What the Book of Life is, and whose names are written in it. What the Second Resurrection is, and who takes part in it.
Read them in any order. Revelation's ending rewards careful reading, and these three articles are a good place to begin.

Read together, the three make one movement. Books are opened and names are read aloud. A gate that was shut with a flaming sword stands open. The tree Adam was driven away from grows in the middle of the street, and its leaves are for the healing of the nations.
Scripture opens with a man sent out of a garden. It ends with a city whose gates are never shut. Everything between those two doors is the story of how that changed, and the last three chapters are where it lands.
The closing sessions of the ten-week workbook walk through all three, question by question.
Grace and peace,
Richard
